(1) Face the right sides of front and back together. Pin on and stitch along the side lines.
Serge or zigzag seams at the edge as shown.
(2)Press seams towards the front.
(3) Face the right sides of front and back facings together. Pin on and stitch along the side lines.
Press the seams open.
(4) Serge or do zigzag bottom of facing as shown.
(5) Match the bodice and facings as shown.
Make sure that the bodice and the facing are facing right sides together.
(6) Stitch all the way around of top line as picture shown.
(7) Trim the points on any sharp angles and cut notches in the seam allowance along the curve.
(8) Turn the piece right-side-out. Edgestich along top line.
(9) Make the button holes on the back as shown.
