[1] Round pocket-Long romper
(1) On the wrong side of pocket, fold fold 0.4”(1cm) then 2cm/3/4” and press.
Stitch the hem the top of each pocket. And iron down 0.4”(1cm) of your edges to the wrong side.
(2) Sew a row of easing stitches around the curved base of the pocket
inside the seam allowance.
(3) And gently draw up the easing threads to create the curved shape
at the base of the pocket. Press the fabric with the template still in place.
(4) Place the pocket on the right side of front piece and edge stitch the pockets as shown.
[2] Streight pocket-pants
(1) On the wrong side of pocket, fold 1cm/3/8” and 2cm/3/4”of top-edges of pocket.
(2) Press and stitch the hem the top of pocket first. It will result in a cleaner-looking pocket.
(3) Iron the edges in toward the wrong side of the fabric on each pocket.
(4) The pocket is now ready to topstitch onto your right side of pants.
Align it based on the markings on your pattern.
